A little bit about us, and why we are different than any law firm out there.
My name is Jon Coats. I graduated with Honors from Tulane University Law School in 2000 and immediately started practicing law with a large law firm in New Orleans before moving back to Florida to practice law in 2003. I founded American Business Law Group, P.A. to provide a more affordable option for the owners of newly formed Florida companies to obtain attorney prepared operating agreements or bylaws for their newly formed company.
While my partners and I also handle business transactions and litigation through another law practice, i.e., Coats Schmidt, P.A., we have come to realize that many new business owners often need something different than a law firm billing them hourly or charging a large retainer to draft their business documents.
Over the years we have been able to implement a system that allows us to provide a streamlined process of drafting comprehensive operating agreements and corporate bylaws, but without the hefty price tag that often comes along with them.
We believe that small businesses are the backbone of this great Country and great State. You are the risk takers that instead of sitting around talking about what you are going to do, you go out and do it! For a limited liability company, you will want an Operating Agreement, and for a corporation you will need Bylaws.
